Any body how got problem of virus in the name of DULLA@204, this virus is use www.insa.gov.et for the anitviru? virus was made in Ethiopia and affect all application files inclusing doc, xls, pdf,ppt and many more you not anit-virus clean this but there is especial anti-virus designed in ETHIOPIA called "TSERE DULLA" download from and enjoy it

CanadaRAM replied: "I can't find anything specifically on "dulla@2004" however here is a general virus elimination instruction First download the following (if the virus is blocking your internet, you may have to download these on another machine and burn to CD or copy to a USB memory stick) Malwarebytes: CCleaner (cleans out caches) Avast! 4 Home: Now, start the machine in Safe Mode (hit the F8 function key as the machine boots up, and choose Safe mode) Turn off System Restore on your machine, but only until you get this fixed - many of these trojans get copied into the System Restore files, which anti-virus programs aren't allowed to touch and the viruse could reinstall themselves from there. My Computer > Properties > System Restore. Then run Malwarebytes, and clean everything it says Then run Avast - If a virus infection is persistent, use Avast to do a boot-scan - click on "schedule boot-scan" and restart the computer Then run CCleaner Then turn System Restore back on. Now install the antivirus program and antispyware program of your choice to do continuous scanning, and make sure you keep it up to date. Always keep your Windows, web browser and Java software up to date - frequent patches are released to plug security holes. These are the best antivirus and antispyware that i've ever had: Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic (Free)... (Avira is better than AVG, based on my experience. McAfee and Norton are the worst ones, so don't ever trust them) Spyware Doctor Starter Edition (Free)... (Spydoc is my lifesaver. when I had a horrible virus once, this one has been the only solution. Spyware Doctor is kinda system hog, though... running it requires a lot of memory and uses a big deal of resources on CPU. I suggest disabling it after every use) Update these two programs regularly. Also, download Smitfraudfix... and also Kaizer Virus Killer (download link somewhere below) They are DOS-based applications, but worked very fine on my computer! Don't be afraid using DOS applications, just follow the instructions and everything will be fine. In the Kaizer Killer, all you have to do is to double-click the application and it automatically removes most viruses in a heartbeat. does any one know about this harmful virus ~dulla^@204 virus? i think its part of trojan hourse virus it damage any pdf, word, execl, and htm files. it makes a folder in regedit and execute it self in the program i am able to disable in services but it may not be deleted from registry. files are not recovered. i am not able to clear this virus completely from my pc. most people suggest avast anti virus but it can not able to delet all excutable files made by this virus. p/s any one hear my voice and solve this problem most of our companion are attacked by this virus

I need heeeeeeelp!!!! ~dulla^204@~ virus infected more than 100 PCs in our campus. Please help!? I have tried a lot to disinfect but all trials were not successful. I have used avira rescue disk a bootable disk I have also tried AVG,Symantec Endpoint, Avira,MacAfee,Norton none of them recognizes it. Please heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! W32.Bonka.A is another name of this virus.

Michael F replied: "If you have windows XP, go to - start -Help & Support -System restore -restore ny computer to an earlier date and do a system restore to a date when you know the computer was fine. This may do it !!"

hih i replied: "Dulla virus is win32 virus that attaches itself to executable files and corrupts different types of files. - It has two basic virus components: a) Propagation - by attaching to .exe files. b) Payload - corrupting documents. If you are already infected , use Tsere-Dulla(newer version, do not use previous version)(from=\'INSA-TSERE-DULLA') to repair infected executable files , remove stand-alone virus programs in system32 , and remove services related with Dulla. (Disinfection Process) - Then use Kaspersky or avira for prevention. Do not use kaspersky or avira before disinfecting , because these two anti-viruses are not capable of repairing infected files(They will corrupt or delete your files)."
